After six years of serving tea in our quintessential teahouse in Derbyshire we feel qualified to know what makes a great cup of tea. Our ethically sourced loose leaf teas are of the finest grade and lovingly mixed with flowers, fruit, herbs and spices to create wonderful blends.

The Rani is the queen of Chai teas.A powerful blend of tea, herbs and spices, chai has been cherished for centuries in India to preserve health and increase peace of mind. But, the more we learn about chai, the more benefits we find. In addition to improving digestion, chai enhances the immune system, fights inflammation and has antioxidant properties.

Ginger

An important root used in Eastern medicine, ginger aids digestion, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation, which can be especially helpful for people suffering from arthritis. It offers antioxidant support, and some research has also shown that ginger can help fight cancer cells.

Cardamom

To prepare we recommend 1 tbsp per cup, using freshly boiled water (100c) and steeping for 6-8 minutes. We recommend you use a strainer or tea infuser for your loose leaf tea.
